With its shortline designation the company interchanges with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway to efficiently link area rail users to the global economy. BDW operates 3 rail yards with 15 miles of track on 470 acres and has 23.5 miles of BNSF trackage rights to augment movement of product.
